David Allen Scholl served in the U.S. Army from 1985 until forced medical separation in pre-9/11 2001. Though he served as an Infantry Scout Sniper in Korea and in the 101st Airborne, most of his time was with the Special Forces (Green Berets) both with the 5th Special Forces Group in Ft. Campbell and as a high altitude jump instructor "HALO" in Yuma, AZ. From 2001 until 2007, David worked against outsourcing jobs and for issues of citizenship, security, and veteran care doing business as "Gulfvet Communications," though he was distracted by three years as a civilian security specialist in Iraq (a story for another day). David has a vision for a stong and united America which is driven by an equal vision of the trouble gathering on the horizon for these United States.

In February 2007 David left Iraq for the last time and joined Kim House to create Prefer America Inc. in Grapevine Texas. Kim, an experienced corporate coach and senior management consultant, had equal concerns about the United States. She has witnessed the struggles of American high-character client companies struggle under the pressure of offshore outsourcing and stockholders who wanted big profits - this week. She was also alarmed at the declining standards of morality, decency, and and dignity throughout America.

We have accomplished much tin the past four months. We are a Texas licensed S-Corps registered with the Federal Government. We have over 40 web sites under various degrees of development that we are running out of our office on Main street in Grapevine. David's radio show; "Prefer America Radio" has been airing since the 1st of March and is gaining support weekly, with local listeners joined by internet listeners from Florida to Washington State. Kim and David are being advised by Jason De La Porte, CEO of De La Porte and Associates and Kevin Christ of Avalion Consulting in Dallas, both are advising pro bono, and we appreciate them very much. There are many others, too numerous to name, but they are the readers and listeners who have added their vision to David's and Kim's; many of the changes you'll see between now and July the 4th are a result of their insight, knowledge, and shared concern.

There are many who have supported this effort, and many more who have expressed a willingness to support it, but are waiting. We fully understand their reservations, as business is business for potential advertisers and clients as well as the investors who have the resources to take our message and solutions national. Citizens as well are skeptical, not just about us but about most everything today. When we talk about honesty, integrity, courage, obligation to those who have given their lives for our country, or an obligation to those yet to come, people say "what's their angle?" Today, words like duty, honor, country, and citizenship, are associated with press releases by corporate offices who are massaging perceptions, athletes and stars who wonder what they mean, and service members who wonder why everyone doesn't get them.
